One man charged with murder in Canyon Lake woman's death
Chambers County Sheriff Brian Hawthorne said the body of Jennifer Morgan Ac cording to Hawthorne found at a Pine Hollow residence in Wallisville. Rivers, 33, of Canyon Lake, met Nanial Tae, an Anahuac man facing murder charges. Rivers died from a gunshot wound. Enem y Heredia, 25, Wallisville and William Joseph Griffin, 22, Anahuac, were involved at a campground. The incident appears to have occurred while swimming at Guadalupe River in Comal County.

The U.S. Fifth Circuit vacated a district court ruling against ExxonMobil in a 2010 lawsuit by Environment Texas and the Sierra Club alleging 10 million pounds of illegal air pollution around Baytown. The panel said the district court abused its discretion on penalties and relief while noting ExxonMobil acted in good faith.
