Wall Street dips as subprime fears offset upbeat data
Wall Street fell as investors trimmed gains amid rising oil prices and ongoing subprime mortgage concerns, offsetting a strong second quarter. The Dow slid 13.66 to 13408.62 while the S P 500 dropped 2.36 and the Nasdaq declined 5.14. Through Q2 the Dow rose 1,054.27 points, an 8.53 percent gain.
