Dennis follows family path to Aggieland as strength coach
Al Dennis, famed Ross S. Sterling coach, describes his son Chad’s path from Texas to UT and beyond. Chad earned a Longhorns scholarship, played 1989 1990 before a neck injury ended his playing career and led to a stint as a student assistant. Dennis later built a career in strength coaching at Texas A&M Connecticut Houston Baylor and now Texas A&M as assistant director of strength coaches. He reflects on adapting to the SEC and elevating players through year round training while praising the impact of coaching and teamwork.
