Kodak Cartridges Change Home Movie Projections at Expo 69
Kodak unveiled cartridge projection systems at Photo Expo 69 allowing 40 and 100 foot reels to run with no handling. New Insta matic M109 and M105 projectors support various film formats and reverse or pause on frames. The Ektagraphic 120 accepts only cartridge reels, while cameras M22 to M30 use foldaway grips and run on two AA batteries for about 25 cartridges. An Indiana meet story notes track official Phil Eskew questioning a fast-starting youth who said he would not use starting blocks.
