Crape Myrtle Drenches Baytown Yard With Pink Blooms
In Baytown a crape myrtle planted by Rolena Cooling's late ex-husband now fills most of her backyard with pink blossoms. The tree serves as a photo spot and shade for family events. Cooling attributes its success to tender loving care and help from her husband John. She also tends banana trees oleanders hibiscus and sage palms and trims a smaller front yard crape myrtle that often vies with the roofline.
