Capital murder trial winds down in Jean case in Houston
A Harris County jury is set to begin deliberations in the capital murder trial of Joseph Francois Jean of Baytown. Prosecutors allege Jean killed 17 year old Chelsey Lang and 16 year old Ashley Johnson by dousing a Baytown home hallway with gasoline, beating them with a bat, possibly sexually assaulting them, and setting them on fire while alive. The nine day trial drew many relatives and the court could sequester the panel.
