A Baytown man was arrested for public intoxication in the 1100 block of Carver Street at 11:43 p.m. Thursday. Police also arrested a Baytown man and a Pasadena man in the 200 block of Long Drive after reports of shots fired at 1:04 a.m. Friday. One man faced a firearm discharge charge and the other a drug paraphernalia charge. San Antonio men were arrested at 5:10 a.m. Friday in the 2900 block of West Baker Road for public intoxication. A resident reported a theft of $499 in computer equipment from the 6000 block of Garth Road, occurring between 10 a.m. Tuesday and 6:15 p.m. Tuesday. A water service theft was reported on Massey Tompkins Road at 11:41 a.m. A theft in the 6500 block of Garth Road at 1:43 p.m. Thursday involved $50 in jewelry, later recovered. A travel trailer stolen from the 5900 block of Highway 146 was valued at $14,000 in a theft between Wednesday and Thursday. A shoplifting theft at a business in the 4500 block of Garth Road was reported at 4:19 a.m. Friday, with $26 in items later recovered.
