Baytown Man Arrested After Chasing Stolen Vehicle
A 20 year old Baytown man fled a stationary traffic stop in a stolen Toyota 4Runner in a 30 mph zone on West Main and South Pruett. He pulled into a Pruett Street residence and fled on foot before being captured. Officers learned the vehicle was stolen in an armed robbery and faced resistance from the suspect’s family during arrest. He is in custody for traffic offenses as investigators pursue the armed robberies.
