Goose Creek graduates to hold ceremonies at Hofheinz Pavilion
Goose Creek ISD will hold graduation ceremonies for Goose Creek Memorial Robert E. Lee and Ross S. Sterling seniors at Hofheinz Pavilion on the University of Houston campus Saturday. The move from Stallworth Stadium is due to rainy weather concerns. Superintendent Dr. Salvad Cavazos says the venue offers ample seating and a fitting milestone setting for families and graduates.

Baytown man jailed after car and foot chase
Baytown police arrested 19 year old John Romero after a vehicle pursuit through Market Street area streets. He faces evading arrest and detention with a vehicle, held on a 10000 dollar bond at Harris County Jail. Romero previously had a 2011 burglary conviction. The chase began at 6 55 a m and extended through residential blocks with a Baytown officer in pursuit.
