West Chambers County landfill fight ends after bankruptcy ruling
After seven years of litigation opponents cheer a U S Bankruptcy Judge Wesley Steen ruling that TSP Development no longer has a viable claim on the 797 acre site near Beach City where it planned a large waste dump. Former Beach City mayor Rusty Senac hailed the decision though warned the battle might not be over. TSP filed for bankruptcy protection on December 30.

Chambers County discusses county incinerator troubles
