Five Lee College students receive honors at 1969 commencement

Texas teacher pay raise impact on district finances
Supt George Gentry said it is too early to calculate how much the state pay raise bill passed to the Texas Senate would aid the district. The state plan would boost teachers by an average 700 for 1969 70 and 2100 for 1970 71, while the local board approved about 864 for 1969 70.
