Two men attempted to rob Baytown drive-in groceries Sunday night and were foiled by women clerks. At 7-11-48, Grace Henscey stopped the stick-up by slapping the robber’s hand as he reached under his sweater. Minutes later at Minute Man Grocery, Lota Scott confronted another man whose hand was on the cash drawer and who claimed it was a joke. Police believe the same pair staged both tries.
