Hepburn Memoir Recounts Unwanted Marriage to Spencer Tracy
Katharine Hepburn in Kate Remembered recalls never wanting to marry Spencer Tracy despite deep feelings. She describes a night at the Beverly Hills Hotel when he hit her while drunk and notes she forgave him privately. Berg notes Hepburn’s view of motherhood, career rivalries, and her wide range of admired colleagues.
