Polio Clinic In Channelview Holds Immunization Push
A three part vaccination program in Channelview started Friday after a Harris County polio case. The clinic at Channelview Shopping Center offered oral polio and other vaccines with follow ups planned March 7 and April 4. Theresa Jones, 11 months, is the county’s first polio case outside Houston since 1962. Her family lives on Deming Drive. Dr. Farragut urges parents to immunize as long as any child remains unprotected.
