Eustace Named Baytown Library Director To Succeed Retired Brown
At a 6:30 p.m. Baytown council meeting, city manager Bob Leiper will confirm Jamie Eustace as the new library director, replacing Katharine Brown who retired in October. Eustace, 42, has led the library’s public service division since 2005 and helped launch Think Tank and the media lab, while expanding digital resources and community programs. The appointment would oversee 24 full-time and 25 part-time staff and aims to make the library an experience destination with free digital access and new spaces planned for 2015.
