Baytown Eyes Six Lanes for Garth Road Via TIP Grant
Baytown City Council plans to apply for a 80 percent federal grant through the Houston-Galveston Area Council TIP for a nearly 13 million project to widen Garth Road from Interstate 10 to Highway 146 to six lanes. If selected, the city would cover about 2.5 million, with construction possible within the four-year TIP window.
