Tragic death of 6 year old Ira Clutter at Possum Kingdom Lake
CADDO Texas AP The body of 6 year old Ira Clutter missing since a weekend hike with family was recovered at Possum Kingdom Lake. A DPS dive team found him about 11 a.m near the bottom in 24 feet of water. Investigators believe he fell from a rock while exploring the shoreline. Hundreds of volunteers searched rocky brushy terrain as cold weather lingered. A black tennis shoe found Tuesday gave the first major clue. The autopsy will be performed by the Dallas County medical examiner. Ira was a kindergartner from Silsbee and a Jehovahs Witness.
