ABWA Opens Baytown Chapter For Women’s Growth
A Baytown chapter of the American Business Women’s Association aims to boost personal and professional growth through education leadership and networking. The Greater Channel Area Chapter will meet starting January hoping to reach 35 members to qualify for a charter by March. The group traces back to World War II when women filled in for men, and ABWA was founded by Henry A Bufton Jr of Kansas City Missouri who started the movement.
