Baytown Man Dies After Swallowing Crack Cocaine
Police say Vernon S. Lloyd 23 of Baytown died after ingesting crack cocaine during a traffic stop. Four occupants including a 4-year-old were detached from a car. Lloyd refused treatment, later collapsed and died at San Jacinto Methodist Hospital. Autopsy pending. driver Gregory J. Spencer charged with possession and $15,000 bond.
