Maurice Taylor wins his heat in 2 04.0, Sterling freshman David Witzel places second in 2 04.5, and James Weisinger narrowly edges Robert Destin for third at 2 30 5 2. Bruce Waltrip and Steve McBride duel through three miles before Waltrip fades with McBride finishing 4 2 34 6 not among top six.
