Sagadahoc Superior Court opened at 10 a m with Justice Albert Beliveau presiding. Five indictments were returned by the grand jury including forgery and four counts of breaking and entering with larceny. Edmund Robinson Jr and Kenneth Oliver pleaded guilty to four counts and received one to two years with two years probation.

A 50 year old itinerant, intoxicated, was discovered sleeping on the floor of a Bangor coal plant hoisting tower 150 feet above ground. He entered through a window after climbing narrow stairs. Police faced difficulty reaching him with flashlights and booked him in a cell for the night.
