New York Mayor La Guardia invited him to the dedication of North Beach Municipal Airport and related preview ceremonies. Police details note the airport gathering began at 1 p.m. and the dedication at 2:30 p.m. A buffet luncheon followed. The Sagadahoc Superior Court opened its October term with Judge William H. Fisher presiding at 10 a m. Twelve civil cases were set for trial, and a heavier criminal docket loomed with grand jury indictments returning three counts against Albert C. Condon of Woolwich for keeping his three children from school. Condon pleaded not guilty. trial expected later this week.
