Ice truck collision injures driver at Chase's corner
An Albion H. Johnson Ice Co truck collided with a Hupmobile sedan at Chase's corner on a Saturday evening, overturning the truck and throwing its driver Charles H. Fields onto the road, resulting in a slight cut above one eye. The Hupmobile was driven by Willem C Bands. Investigation found no serious fault by either party and a satisfactory settlement was reached.

Bath Iron Works launched a 60 foot all steel cruiser for the U S Department of Commerce in Bath. The vessel, to be used in Boston Harbor at Gallops Island base, bears the name of Thomas Brown McClintic who died of Rocky Mountain spotted fever in 1912. Dromore Farm Bureau held its first annual fair and exhibition at Dromore Grange Hall Friday evening with record attendance. The event featured a program directed by Mrs. Harry F. Oliver and Mrs. Robert Manson, a home extension talk by Mrs. Henry W. Webb of Wiscasset, and a Central Church quartet performance. Proceeds from spread, cake and candy sale will total about $30, while exhibits ranged from needlework by Alice Minott to a vegetable display by Annie Percy and a quiltcraft collection with 30 appliqued patterns.
