Arrowsic Toll Dispute and Bridge Damage Warrants
Warrants sworn by George S. Tarr first selectman of Arrowsic allege damage to the bridge property on September 2 and October 8. A broken lantern resulted when Mrs. Moulton allegedly opened the gate in impatience, causing the break on two separate occasions. Reid's evidence of toll payments is not known. Georgetown residents pay tolls. Arrowsic residents do not, a longstanding point of contention.
