A home nursing class is being formed in Wiscasset with plans to start soon. Interested persons should notify Mrs. Lawrence B Haggett. Lincoln County Red Cross chapter will begin surgical dressings next Tuesday in the Masonic hall dining room from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Attendance urged.

Westinghouse lighting engineering has made Pennsylvania’s Pittsburgh to Harrisburg road one of the safest, most colorfully lighted motor highways. Blue green mercury vapor light gives a minimum visibility of 1,000 feet inside seven turnpike tunnels. Yellow sodium vapor light warns motorists approaching tunnels and interchanges.

Former teacher helps locate missing girl in New Hampshire
