Many Appeal Cases Set For October Term In Sagadahoc Sheriff Court
An unusually large number of appeal and bound over cases from Municipal Court are slated for the Sagadahoc County Superior Court October term which begins next Tuesday with grand jurors reporting. Recorder Arthur D. Dolloff notes 11 appeal and 11 bound over cases, with three appeals previously sent to Superior Court in January or June. He urged withdrawals by tomorrow or Friday to avoid extra costs, as some appeal only seek time to pay fines. In Bath, Arthur L. Freeman, 41, paid $110 for operating under influence after pleading innocent, later changing to guilty this morning.
