Six Brunswick high School pupils stole and moved Morse high’s goal posts to Brunswick park and painted a “We Beat Morse” sign before being stopped by City Marshal Butler. The incident followed a 12 0 Brunswick win and echoes from a past student celebration at Brunswick high. Morse students arrived after the touring car departed. officials planned to have the goal posts returned.

Col Dummer Sewall Chapter DAR laid a marker and bronze tablet for Capt John Bailey of Woolwich on Armistice day. Bailey born Weymouth MA in 1737 enlisted 1777 in Col Jacksons regiment. His grave at Moatsweag Bay had field stones before. Descendants include Sumner Bailey who recalls 1813 burial event.
