William C. Lane of this city was sent to Kennebec county jail in Augusta Saturday to await action of the Sagadahoc Superior court grand jury at the January term after failing to post 800 in sureties. Judge Arthur J. Dunton ordered him held in municipal court Friday morning on probable cause for bigamy. Police allege Lane married Kathleen A. MacMullen of Milton Mass in this city May 7 1938 while having a wife and a 14 year old son in Charlestown Mass.

Mrs. Marilla Blaisdell 77 widow of Abraham Blaisdell died Tuesday night at Boston City Hospital from injuries suffered in an Atlantic Massachusetts accident last Friday night. Funeral services were held in Bath at Fred S Curtis funeral home and Russell's in Wollaston. Burial was in Oak Grove. Survivors include three sons two daughters and several sisters.

More Lobstermen Seeking Licenses in Maine Drive Inquiries
