Lad Captured After Exciting Bath Chase
Clarence Taylor a one year old from Gardiner, who fled the State school for boys at South Portland three weeks ago, was captured by Bath police after a brisk chase near the depot. He fled from a relative’s house in Vine street into Depot square, then hid in a garage where Patrolmen Rice and McElman found him in an automobile barefoot. Taylor previously escaped once before, with plans to run to a farm. Also, Edna Wilson of North street sprained her right ankle on Sebasco golf links and resumed study at Morse High School.

Baby narrowly saved as Buick crashes into Bath home
An eight week old baby escaped fatal injury when a Buick coupe sped through High and Oak streets in Bath last Wednesday. Mrs Beatrice Stevens was bruised while shoving her carriage out of the path. the car tore into the home at the northeast corner.
