Committee Named For Coming Tourney At Colonial Club
A new committee to oversee a proposed tournament was named at the Colonial club monthly meeting. Members are Robert Brownell, Horace Morse and Elford A. Stover. Francis Parry reported on plans for the annual banquet at New Meadows Inn and will report again in June. Everett Maxcy spoke on electric utilities in Maine, highlighting both sides of the issue. Before the meeting a concert was given by John H. Grindell, Clifford Leeman and Kenneth Trask, with a light saxophone solo by Trask and Miss Catherine Dinsmore dancing. Farley Mayo and Leslie Larrabee performed as Grant & Groan in a blackface skit. Refreshments followed.

South End P T A held its regular monthly meeting at the Washington street rooms with Mrs. Arthur C. Lemont presiding. Reports by committees were read and the benevolence group led by Mrs. J Albert Redlon noted unusually heavy work. The association voted a ten dollar prize for the outstanding graduating girl and appointed a nominating committee to report at the final meeting June 7.
