Bath men seek protection for savings banks act
Lieut Ralph P. Mank will be in Valea g. Those Bath men who are trying to have the legislature do some thing toward the protection of the savings banks from unfair competition seem likely to ac complish something worthwhile. All trust companies are not as well and safely managed as the Bath Trust Co., and where such is the case the depositors need the protection even more than the very uniformly conservative savings institutions. The Ladies Circle of Pythian Sisters will meet with Mrs. Le mont at her home on School street tomorrow afternoon. Edward W. Bridgham of the firm of Keegan & Bridgham, was nominated as notary sede yesterday by Governor Plaisted.
