Morse High Loses Narrow Battle For Division Crown
Morse High dropped a 24 to 22 decision to Cony High at Bowdoin College gym. Excess fouling in the final minutes doomed Morse as Cony sank three late free throws to secure the Southern Division title. Richie McEman led Morse with strong scoring while Newall Wilson and Capt. Levyn also starred before fouls sidelined them. Neither Morse center scored, a rare letdown in the post.
