Mrs Lemont Elected Substitute Teacher At Local High School
Mrs. Herbert Lemont was elected substitute teacher to replace the late Miss Barbara Wiggin, teacher of French, by the Board of Education. She will receive the same salary as Wiggin. The board barred agencies from addressing pupils for entertainment. Spring vacation: April 24 to May 4. Also noted: accounts totaling 2 062.78 approved for payment. Next meeting scheduled for Monday at 1 30 to reorganize. Mrs Ausanda Rose of Greene celebrates her 93rd birthday, with extensive family including five children, 13 grandchildren, 27 great grandchildren and three great great grandchildren.
