Minstrel Show for Bath Hospital Draws Full Hall
The Jolly Minstreleers staged a two part benefit at Masonic Temple to aid Bath Memorial Hospital. Mrs. Edmund Ford directed a varied program with child star Iva Ford and Cab Calloway impersonator Pearl Staples drawing strong applause. The show closed with a dance as Cliff Leeman’s orchestra provided the music.

February bridge tolls rise over 1934 figures
Traffic over the Carlton bridge climbed in February with 15,569 vehicles, about 4,977 more than February 1934, and roughly 10,000 more people crossing in 28 days. Better weather than last February helped boost travel despite ongoing reasons for increased traffic.

West Bath Grange Fair Showcases Card Party and Events
West Bath grange held its annual fair with a card party, supper, dance, beano and sales. Prizes went to Mrs. Mae Larrabee and Mrs. Joseph W. Cyr in contract and to Mrs. Ivan A. Trueworthy and Mrs. William A. Coombs in auction. Highlights included entertainment, booths, a baked bean supper, and a radio-stage show directed by Mrs. Cavanaugh. Norris S. Lord announced Bridgewater High’s top score of 214.5 in the Maine Comprehensive Examination.
