About 250 people gathered at the Mason Temple for the first International Thinking Day ceremony by four girl scout troops and two brownie packs in the city. Scouts represented Countries with flags and lanterns while the Spirit of Scouting spoke on unity and world fellowship.

Cemetery trust funds and toll exemption discussed
Lieut Herbert V Wiley of the dirigible Macon, which crashed in the Pacific on February 12, is well known in Bath. He stayed with Mr and Mrs Fred Hill at 1006 High street during World War I and had Red Cross work with Mrs Wiley. The Macon disaster followed his earlier Akron crash with few fatalities.

Cross Libels Heard In Portland Court
Federal Judge Peters heard cross libels from a midnight collision between the fishing schooner Blanche Gillies of Sebasco and the ten ton freighter Mishawaka of Vinalhaven in an admiralty session at Portland. The schooner’s captain James C. Gillies faced a $750 damages claim as the Mishawaka towed the damaged vessel after a breach. The reflex salvage claim was entered by John S. Baggs, owner of the freighter. Miss Ruth Hodgdon and Miss Mary Utecht, Colby College sophomores, are noted as campus event participants for an April 13 class dance.
