Removal of town farm leaves void on Phippsburg main road
Removal of the old town farm at Phippsburg creates a scenery vacuum along the main road to Popham and Small Point. The land may become a future site for town fathers. The building, moved by Melvin Henderson to become a modern dwelling, marked a long-standing fixture. Waves 50 to 60 feet were sighted off the Cape of Good Hope.
