Word reached here of the death of Carl R. Frye of Columbus Ohio at his home last Tuesday. The Fryes were longtime guests at Popham and Ledgewood since 1945. He is survived by his widow Marilla M and son Richard K both of Columbus. Frye was longtime with Nation wide Insurance and a pioneer city planner in America. He served as vice president and general manager of Tectum Corp Newark Ohio Peoples Mortgage Company of Lincoln Village and Nation wide Transport Association at Port Columbus. He studied at Massachusetts State College and the University of Massachusetts and worked with Murray D. Lincoln. Frye was a member of the FHA advisory committee on cooperative housing at his death.
