George Caleb Quicksall 90 formerly active in Bath politics died Thursday at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Carl Robinson on Bedford Street. Born January 14 1867 in Camden New Jersey he came to Bath in 1917 as a Texas Steamship Company agent. He led Bath’s common council as president in 1929 and held posts in chambers of commerce and various trade groups. He previously worked with Campbell Soup Company and Pennsylvania Railroad and later in wholesale groceries. He belonged to Polar Star Lodge Royal Arch Dunlap Commandery and Scottish Rite Masonry with ties to Jersey City New Jersey.
