Old Wiwurna Sold to a Boston Man
The well known Wiwurna steamer, years old, a familiar river craft on the Bath Boothbay Harbor route, was sold at auction Thursday by Eastern Steamship Lines Inc to John S. Burke of Boston for 900. Auctioneer Mirshill A. Haraden oversaw the sale, with bidding starting at 500 and proceeding in small steps. The buyer may move the craft from Boothbay Harbor within ten days.
