A May 1 1955 Maine Cavalcade of Youth is planned along with prior May Day success. Over $4 000 in scholarships were distributed via the Elks Foundation. The Maine Display at the Los Angeles convention drew praise from Gov Cross and officials aiding Maine industry and the Lobster Party reception connected to national recognition.
