Bathman Saves Life Of A Japanese Worker In Kyushu
Private First Class Robert Kingsbury of the 24th Infantry Division in Kyushu Japan saved a Japanese workman by applying artificial respiration after the worker was shocked by electricity while guiding a crane boom. Kingsbury used leather gloves to free the man from live wires and prevent a fatal shock. Kingsbury is the son of Mr and Mrs George Kingsbury of Bath Maine and previously worked at Bath Iron Works.
