Prone Pressure Treatment Saves Charles W. Martin
Charles W. Martin of Woolwich, about 60, survived a near drowning after a despondent incident at a Woolwich dock. Harvey A. Henderson alerted rescuers when Martin jumped from the ferry slip, a rope tied to his leg aided retrieval, and prone pressure revived him with help from Central Maine Power Co. crew and Rev. J. Benjamin Shaw. He was taken to Bath City Hospital and rested in stable condition later that day.

Ring Held on Murder Charge in Brunswick Pitchfork Death

The Constitution arrived at 12.15 Tuesday afternoon from the mine sweeper Grebe and will stay until noon Friday. A Bath delegation led by Mayor Small met the vessel off Seguin and welcomed it aboard with a brass key and a suited gift. The ship's officers tour and ship relics were shown, with many priceless items and reproductions on display.
