Bills of interest to Sagadahoc County
Two measures introduced in the Maine Legislature under the emergency clause proposed by Senator Jack son of Sagadahoc county. One would authorize county commissioners to negotiate temporary loans and another would let municipalities repay those loans within one year from negotiation. Mayor Small backs a draft to extend fiscal year repayment, enabling borrowing when funds are tight. The city owes county taxes and seeks ready money to cover current bills. Representative Hagan introduces a $12 per month pension for Marshall Davis of Bowdoinham.
