In a crowded Bath Masonic temple, Genesta chapter No. 73 of the Order of the Eastern Star installed officers for 1935 with Mrs. Gladyse Rogers Walker of Auburn arriving to conduct the ceremony after a snow delay. New officers include Miss Mabelle Fullerton as worthy matron and Cecil L. Fullerton as worthy patron, marking the first time a brother and sister held the two top posts.

The James W. Temple Festival ended Saturday night with 400 to 500 attendees and busy concessions. Gov. Louis J. Brann again could not attend. Prizes awarded included a $100 Philco radio to Elizabeth Bennett and a ton of coal to several residents. seven more coal prizes await ticket holders. George Comeau won a hand bag and Arthur B. Scott received a crocheted chair set and the U S shield crocheted by Mr Urbanowitz. Booths lined the gym while the Beano game took place with various prize booths and tribal representatives present.
