Elks transfer $100 to iron lung fund in Bath
Bath Lodge of Elks voted to transfer 100 from its treasury to the iron lung fund for Memorial hospital. An active campaign aims to raise about 3,000 with a two night minstrel show at Morse high school on Feb 24 and 25. The committee will display a modern iron lung in Bath soon. The lodge also voted a 5 contribution to equip Bath School Band. In unrelated note, 24 of 310 Canadian Pacific whales were females.
