The Merritt, Chapman & Scott Corp. wrecking tug Resolute, in port two and a half weeks for Bath Water District main repairs on the Kennebec river bed, cleared Thursday afternoon for New York passing the James M. to Bath Iron Works and tied up there. The vessel left the river just before two o clock amid calm seas and a north northeast wind with a projected 40 hour voyage under favorable conditions.
