At a Wednesday meeting Bath Water District trustees heard Edwin L. Pride of Boston outline a plan to audit Maine Water Co. finances to determine a fair price for Bath water works. Pride, jointly paid by both sides, could base Bath offers on his figures as multiple cities in Maine shift to local water systems. Maine Water District engineers and Bath District engineers will seek agreement on reproduction cost as of January 1, 1916, then decide the plant’s going value and depreciation.
