Mittens Tied to 1845 Born Charles Morse Turned 90
Mrs Nellie Morse Andrews of South Paris owns a pair of red and white striped mittens made for her uncle Charles Morse who was born in 1845. The mittens measure about four inches long and four and a half inches around the wrist and were worn by Morse when very young. They were crafted by Morse’s grandmother Mrs Betsy Gross Parsons.
