Phippsburg Christmas Programs and Community News
Everett A Harrington of Phippsburg suffered a two inch cut to the top of his foot when an axe slipped while cutting trees. The Popham Beach and Ashdale schools held Christmas programs with teachers praised and gifts exchanged. The Center pond, once lively with skating, is now nearly deserted as many homes close for the season. Memorial notices and local visits include mourners in Foxboro and Bath, a Bowker funeral in Bath, and various residents returning to or from visits in Portland Worcester Roxbury and Ossining. The broader community tone recalls local celebrations, health updates, and aging residents in Phippsburg and surrounding towns.
