Christmas Seal Sale Opens In Maine For Tuberculosis Fight
The Maine Public Health Association runs a Christmas Seal sale to fund clinics and TB prevention. Seals cost a penny and are sold at the Times Office and by county committee members across Sagadahoc County. Also noted is William S. Cole Jr of Bangor being named lieutenant colonel of the ROTC unit at the mining school, and a Maine cow claimed to be 21 years old with 18 calves.

Levi Willett 55 a Bath Iron Works former iron worker died after a Chrysler coach driven by G Frederick Gaudet 25 of 932 High street left the Berry's Mill road near Abbott Redlon's home and struck a maple tree. Gaudet survived with scalp wounds. A manslaughter warrant was planned after Sheriff Henders on and County Attorney Carey reviewed the crash. Willett had lived in Bath off and on for nearly 20 years and served in World War I.
